These tees were such a blast to paint! NALA LOS ANGELES has hilarious graphic tees/tanks/sweatshirts, and how could I not paint a few of their tees with my favorite city in their business name?! I was so excited when they said they'd send me one of the tees I painted! Stay tuned to see the "Honest to blog" tee in action soon! Check out all their stuff here!

Another Pair of Printed Shorts

I am absolutely obsessed with these shorts!!! They have so much going on, yet when you look from afar, it all kind of comes together as one... Definitely a win from Forever 21! I paired the shorts with a tee from Urban Outfitters and my slip-ons from Aldo. Simple and comfy!

Clare Vivier

I am so excited to share this post! Earlier this week I painted my three favorite Clare Vivier tees, and obviously posted them on Instagram! Clare Vivier liked them herself, and their shop re-instagrammed it!! So exciting!!

This is probably my new favorite shirt for this fall from Madewell! For some shirts I am willing to bite the full price tag...and this was definitely one of those times. The embroidery is beautiful! Love at first sight! Then, as usual, I dressed a nice article of clothing with a not-so nice article of clothing - ripped jeans, along with the Birks!

Last week I went and saw Justin Timberlake - HE WAS AMAZING! Get tickets if you can! and wanted to share what I wore! I was a bit pressed for time that night and wasn't able to take pictures, so I finally put the outfit back on for some good pics! I assumed Justin would be wearing something along the lines of black and white, so I went with a simple white burnt-out crewneck tee and some black flowy shorts! I layered up a few necklaces to add some dimension.
Now for the star of the show, the shoes!! I first saw them in Bloomingdales on sale and loved them, but unfortunately they didn't have my size and the sale price was still far too expensivs for my wallet. Then, I was in Lord & Taylor and saw these beauties on sale - and they fit! I had to get them! $57 for a pair of $150 shoes is a great deal in my book! They are almost a replica of the Isabel Marant sandals everyone raves about... FYI, if you're thinking about buying them online, get a size down. I wear a 9 or 9.5 and the size 8 fits me perfectly!

I am obsessed with this pullover from J.Crew! I feel like everywhere I look there's a sweatshirt or tee that has French sayings on it for the fall season... I was getting anxious to wear this pullover so I paired it with jean shorts and some high-tops and called it an outfit! I also wore my new sunglasses... Celine look-a-likes I would like to say! Snagged them for $12 at Nordstrom Junior!

This is my watercolor version of Something Navy's outfit she posted yesterday. I loved it and have been wanting to amp up my person/fashion painting skills and figured that outfit was the perfect opportunity! I posted it on Instagram, and she responded! Go check it out!

These photos were taken up and down Broadway, so that was fun! This was a super casual look, with a J.Crew chambray popover and some Zara silk shorts. These are some of my favorite silk shorts, they are so bright and cheery! I felt like these gold sling-back sandals added a nice metallic flair, along with a messy bun. I don't have any sale stories about this outfit, unfortunately!

On another day of my NYC trip, I certainly wore one of my more unique outfits I have, and the fact that I was able to snag both the tank and jeans on sale makes it even better! I first saw this white tank from Sanctuary Clothing back in the winter months, but didn't want to spend $50-$60 on it in a month I couldn't even wear it with the back showing! So, this past June, I was in a Dillards looking through the sale - and BOOM! there it was, and only $20 or so. The jeans are also a sale success story - I fell in love with them when Erin Wasson modeled one Madewell's look books with these jeans and similar metallic oxfords, but didn't want to spend $130 on a pair of jeans I wouldn't wear too often. Earlier in July, when Madewell was having their extra 40% off sale, I found them in my size and couldn't say no to a price of $30!!
I paired the tank and jeans with my Sam Edelman oxfords and some shades from Forever 21, only purchased because they are prettttty identical to the Thierry Lasry sunglasses. Looking back at the pictures, I think they look pretty dumb on my huge head, but oh well! I wore a simple grey bandeau under the tank to really show off the hole-y back!
